It is that time of year . . . senior pictures are in full-swing. Heather was my first of three sessions this week . . . yikes. After spending Sunday with her brother, Anthony and his fiancée Carol, it was great to hang out with Heather and her mom, JoAnn. We hit Lake Frederick, Rivendell, Skyline Drive and downtown Front Royal. Here are some of her pictures!

Carol and Anthony - Engagement

It has been a busy week. On Sunday, I hung out with Carol and Anthony, who will be getting married on September 1. We headed up Skyline Drive and around Front Royal to get some fun shots of them hanging out. I am so blessed with great couples - and that is something that not everyone in the wedding business always has . . . so thanks for being great, guys!

Be a part of history! Today I am participating in the first ever “blogathon” to raise funds for the through their eyes africa project. Please go to their blog and give generously today. You can make a difference to some of the neediest people on earth in a very unique way, and we need your help.

This project will be sending a group of well known photographers into a remote part of Africa that has not received any help yet. The photographers will be mentoring young adults on how to take pictures so that we can get a look at their society “through their eyes”. The funds raised from this project will go right back to the needs of these people. Remember, what you give will make a difference in the lives of some of the neediest people on earth.

Sally & Michael's wedding

What a gorgeous day we had yesterday - so beautiful. Sally and Michael were stunning, the church was stunning . . . the whole day was just stunning. Sally was one of the most relaxed brides I have seen, and she looked amazing. It was such a joy to share this day with them, and their families - many of whom traveled from Japan to be a part of the special day. I will admit to getting a little choked up during Michael and Sally's toast to their family. What a special group of people. My Michael and I are off to Michigan for a week, but before we left, I wanted to at least give you a taste of yesterday . . .
